Worship that inspires, uplifts us,

Christ’s compassion can embrace us,
and equip us for this hour.

to believe, to seek love’s power.
But belief must lead to action,
else all talk, all theory’s vain.
service is our true vocation,
living, working, for God’s reign.

Church People
The Church is made of people
called to a life of faith.
Our task to be disciples,
be fools for Jesus’ sake.

are gentle like a dove.

alive to human need,

whose aim is so to live,
that all who hear Christ’s message,
may their allegiance give.
